SolvIT is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support automotive diagnostic systems and vehicle program readiness across Aftermarket and Fleet operations.

This role is well-suited for someone with experience in project coordination within technical, engineering, or IT environments who enjoys managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring projects stay on track.

You will work closely with engineering teams, OEM partners, and regional stakeholders to coordinate activities, track progress, and support the successful delivery of diagnostic tools and system updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ER&D cost tracking activities, including submission follow-ups, approvals, and status updates

  • Maintain project tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting materials; provide visibility to leadership and finance teams

  • Organize and facilitate recurring project meetings, capture key takeaways, and track action items through completion

  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, and support) to monitor progress and ensure program alignment

  • Collect and organize project data from internal systems such as SharePoint, Teams, and PLM tools

  • Communicate updates related to upcoming vehicle programs, system enhancements, and new technologies

  • Lead stakeholder discussions focused on program readiness and potential impacts

  • Contribute to process improvements and support operational initiatives led by leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, program support, or project management within a technical environment

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Experience using project tracking tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow through on deliverables


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to automotive systems, vehicle diagnostics, or embedded technologies

  • Familiarity with environments involving hardware and software integration

  • Experience working with global or cross-functional teams

  • Ability to interpret technical data, documentation, and engineering workflows

  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or similar project management methodologies

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • A standard work schedule will be provided, with some flexibility required based on business needs.

  • Work is performed in a professional office setting with typical business noise levels. Occasional travel for meetings may be required. Interaction with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders is frequent, and the role may require flexibility in schedule during peak project periods.
